Greetings all,

I've seen & asked this question before. But not yet found an solution.
So her it is again.

I've created an online racing account linked to a GameSpyID accout.
In TDU and even on the Test Drive Unlimited PC Community Website (http://www.testdriveunlimited.com/community/index_pc.php) it shows that I'm from the United states. What I'm not! I'm from the Netherlands!

I wish to have this changed some way. But all I tried so far, failed.
All my GameSpyID's I've checked and the have always bin set to the Netherlands.

I've tried a differend e-mail adres, instead of dot.COM I tried dot.NL.
Did a reinstall of the game, making sure I clicked on the dutch install language selection.

I've already tried an install on multiple OS installs. Win XP pro (english), Win XP pro (Dutch) and even Windows Vista (dutch).
make sure youre logged out of any game spy related sites ie fil planet etc then the error wont show up
Tried all, but nothing worked so far.

Any more tips & tricks would be welcome.

thx,
wild cat

You'd mever guess it, but the game actually picks the nationality setting from your Windows' Regional Settings.
It shows me as Irish in the game, that's why I found it out. It's the only reason why it'd think I'm Irish. So, most probably your computers have the location set to US and then TDU thinks you should get the US flag...
The reason I have mine set to Irish is to get English in all applications and menus. I absolutely hate it when I install 'english' drivers on my U.K. windows and then I suddenly get menus in Finnish, which I have trouble understanding. Just because the location is set to Finland... :/

Thanks, Thanks ALOT! :bravo:

I've changed those settings and it worked like a charm... needed to set a few new records on tracks on the ranking list before it kicked in, but never the less it worked.
