Ok, I have a decent system with only a 7600GT, it runs fine maxed out for me. *AA instead of HDR*.
But, there are a few little graphical bugs that need ironing out, for example, when I start the game, It goes a bit wierd with polygons going all over the place. I need to alt+tab in and out to clear it. Now This I can live with BUT I do think Atari need to clean up the online so, my wishlist for things to be fixed/added would be.
1- A private message system
2- A global Chat
3- An actual friends list, I know there is one already, but it's not directly accessable and the only way I seem to able to add friends is at the beginning of a race. Other than that it doesnt work at all.
4- Fix the problem where you meet up with someone and thery don't show up. I was talking to my friend on Skype and we pulled up next to each other where we said we would meet and we couldnt see each other. It took 5 minutes until we both became visable.
5- I'm not really sure how these multiplayer set races work, does it just work by going to a race point and hoping someone is sat there waiting for people to join their game? If it does then it would work a lot better with a global search.
6- A button for voice comm would be nice. It gets really irritating listening to other peoples engines or **** music blaring out.
Other than that this is a brilliant SINGLE PLAYER game :) , the multiplayer needs a lot of work.
And to be honest, if it meant reliable servers and a more in depth communication between players, I wouldnt mind paying monthly for this, as long as it isnt over £10 a month.
