Island Features

Other than buildings and trees, has anybody found any oddities around the island? I love the need for speed games as you would find trains and wagons or can get onto ships, coal heaps, bus stations etc. You can go into stadiums on need for speed but in TDU you can't. Whilst I am loving the scenery and racing in the game, I find there is no sense of discovery.

I found a couple of runways on the far west side on the north of the island, but not sure if you can get in them.

I also found a lighthouse out there.

But nothing too exciting! It's only a PS2 after all!
