Hi,

I'm a bit new to TDU, but found my way in the game easy.
I started with a Ford Mustang GT, and outrace most class B npc cars.

Now I'd like to buy a new vehicle, and I've got a nice budget.
I made up a list, including car name, price and top speed in mph.
Which one do you Think I should buy?

Dodge Viper Cr. 154.999 189 mph top
Ford GT Cr. 176.999 205 mph top
VW W12 roadster Cr. 200.000 206 mph top
Alfa Romeo BC Cr. 174.999 186 mph top
Aston Martin DB9 (cabrio) Cr. 160.999 186 mph top
Ascari KZ1 Cr. 149.999 198 mph top
Lamborghini Gallardo Roadster Cr. 192.999 195 mph top

__________________________________________________ ___

Noble M14 Cr. 115.000 189 mph top
Noble M400 Cr. 85.499 183 mph top
Jaguar XJ220 Cr. 160.000 211 mph top

When I look at price/speed, the Ascari is best, but the Lamborghini is far more beautiful. What car you think is best to buy, and if you've got one of these, why should/shouldn't I buy it?

Ty for your time,
Realistic

EDIT: 3 cars added (the ones below the line)

I see you need a hand choosing a car, no problem mate.
I only own 1 of those cars out of all the ones you've mentioned, which is the Ford GT40. Its an awesome car to drive but might need modifiedifing to get the best mph out of it. The car purss along and isnt bad for your money. Have u considered a Noble M400?

Took me 15 mins to get to the Noble shop.
I found the Noble M400 there, and it's quick for it's price.
But only thing is, I don't really like the looks of it :p

I also saw the Noble M14, which is a bit worser and a bit expensiver than the M400. But the car I most like in there, was the Jaguar XJ220.
With it's top speed of 211 mph, and a fair price of Cr. 160.000, I think this would be a nice car to buy. What do you think?

(3 cars added to the list in my first post)

Elo again

So u dont like the Nobles very much, fair enough. I will recommend my favourite cars in the car which u could also take a look at.If u hvent considered this, u might need 2.(not including prices, mph)

Aston Martin V8 Vantage
Aston Martin Db9 Volante (u mentioned it, sweet car)
Ascari Kz1 (u mentioned it, sweet car)
Lamboghini Gallardo spider
" " " coupe/hardtop
Lamboghini Murcielago spider
Lamboghini Murcielago hardtop
Pangani Zonda S (both versions)

I havent tried the Jaguar XJ220 yet, but for money its your best bet, but see wht other people think.
I cant remember them all, but take this ones out 4 a testdrive or hire them.
NOt sure if there in budget. Sorry if i didnt help...hopefully i did

I was in a similar position.

I test drove:

Spyker C8 Lavatory
Gallardo Roadster and Coupe
Ascari KZ1.

The Gallardo seemed to struggle with lane changes, if you are flat out and need to move quick to avoid oncoming traffic, the tail moves before the front, by which time you hit something! The Roadster seemed slightly better, if you must have a lambo/

Spyker seemed slow in consideration, but the handling was great.

Ascari was a great mix of speed *and* and nimbleness, and cheap! I then used it for the supercar owners club, used the free upgrade to stg3 and it's great.

elo,

Personally, it depends on what car suits you best, if its quick, slow or mid range. Theres no point in buying a car you cant handle unless u like the looks.

I decided to buy myself a Lamborghini Gallardo Roadster, nice yellow.
I don't have any troubles with the lane changing, but it could be because I put upgrade pack 3 on it. I can accelerate quickly, it has a nice top speed (somewhere around 230 mph I think) and it steers quite nice.
If I look at steering, my Mustang still steers a bit better, just a bit quicker reaction from the car. But I still like the Gallardo I bought.

Next car I'm probably going to buy, is a Ford, but not the GT. I took a test drive in it, and I really didn't like it. It looks cool, but that's all.

I brought myself a Lamborghini Murcielago today, hoping that it would be worth $232,000. It wasn't!! Good choice with the Lambo Gallardo Roadster though, maybe i might buy that next as it should have 4 wheel drive.
