Does anyone know when the patch will be released?
Too many bugs and very poor performance even on GF 6600 GT and 1 GB RAM.
No one knows and it is several of posts were people ask just the same thing.

So you registered just to say this...? eekblue: You might have well used the search function to save yourself the trouble.
And how do you mean 'EVEN on a GF 6600 GT'...? That's a card from 2004... You really expect to see super performance in a brand new game with such an old card?
Anyway, welcome on this forum... :wink2: mdr1
I agree 100% with JvanE....a 6600GT...dude that wasn't even a high performance card when you bought it at the time. It was a main stream card and we all know they last for like 6 months. But anyways...welcome to the community young padawan. :)

if you bothered yourself to read the back of the box that is the card that artri say to use, as its on the specs, i have a 6600GT and so do alot of people on these forums
that is the card that artri say to use
You make it sound as if Atari recommends this card for TDU...! ;) But that's not so, of course. It's the minimum you need in order to start the game up. (I don't have the box here with me so I can't check what's written on the box).
JvanE...I think we need to keep quiet...the people with the low end machine are going to start taking offence because we are dissing their machines. Really guys...6600GT...not a brilliant card.

No, the game will start and even run on lower end cards. The minimum requirements are the minimum specs the manufacturer 'guarantees' the game to be playable on. (And yes, I do know playability guarantee seems to be a far stretched term on TDU thus far...) ;)
Try turning HDR off, f you haven't allready. Worked for me i've gone from 1024x786 HDR and high detail to. 1680x1050 (new screen) no HDR, high detail and 2x anti-alias with the same performance.
I did this on a 7600GT though but it might help.
I'm so sick of all this talk about the patch.
It will be released when its done!

Roger that! You would've thought there was enough threads in here already for peeps to get the hint lightbulb

Dont you mean Atari should get the hint and actually inform the community of a estimate time for a patch release ????
Then maybe we wont have so many threads asking about it.
The patch is long overdue since bugs have never been fixed since the Beta.
This is All Atari's fault, nobody elses!!!

No, I meant what I said. We will know of a release date when it's ready, as already informed by The Mole. This has already been discussed weirdblue
