looks sweet but i buy motorstorm its more arcade. and the damage models need to better. the peugeot rams a streetlight and it only has a door with a hole in the window :p

Yeah, have to agree, Motorstorm is one very impressive little game. Graphically, it's far more detailed DIRT and moves at a very impressive pace. To be honest, the PS3 has impressed me with the quality of the graphics and gameplay.
Come on Codemasters, you can do better than this. It's a shame when developers think that the name alone is going to shift the units. Having said that, i've not played it so I can't comment on the gameplay side of things. It might be a really good blast.
We'll wait and see shall we?

IMHO, Codemasters' racing games peaked around 1998 with TOCA2 and Colin 1, and then have slid steadily downhill since then.
TOCA3, for example was far too easy and dull. Colin 2, meanwhile, removed the fun handling of the original. The original TOCA Race Driver, while it looked brilliant, was rubbish.
