Hardcore Mode

Hey guys, i keep reading about Hardcore Mode, what is it and is it downloadable of Xbox Live Marketplace. If so how much is it.

you unlock it at champion and is accessed at the main menu before loading your save

HARDCODE mode gives players the chance to use "sim" handling by making the player brake more and turn at lower speeds. The cars handle differently (not always better).

HARDCODE mode gives players the chance to use a different type of non-sim handling, by handicapping the car drive modelling. The cars handle differently (but most certainly, do not handle realistically or resemble the performance of the cars in real life).

Ok... Alot of different answers here...
The truth is this: Hardcore mode is supposed to be a mode with more realistic handling.
The handling is definetely more realistic than in non-HC mode; brake lengths are vastly increased, there is less grip, and you have more realistic under/oversteer.
The mode is still not a sim-mode. It is nothing like GTR2 or LFS, not even like Forza, but still alot more realistic than normal mode and IMO alot more fun!
