You "just" have to win the challenge "Coastal Dream" which begins at the airport (yes, the one 166,6km long). I did it with a McLaren upgraded to update 3 in normal difficulty, and I got the 524,000Cr (I think it was that amount) and ALL the houses. It's a great price, although the race took me around 47 minutes. Enjoy! :atari: :chapeau:

It's at the airport gate, more or less where you begin. What I don't know is the rank in which you have to be in so that the challenge appears. You can see it in the map.

I'd say south, fairly near to Pearl Harbour. It's where you can see the jumbo planes at the airport and the terminal and so on.

No prob mate. Maybe it's because you have to be in the highest rank. I'm in the highest rank, which I think is master. It's with 1,000,000 exp. points with which you get it. Maybe until then it doesn't appear :hin:

I have a slight problem: I don't have WiFi so I can't play online... yet! As soon as I get a WiFi router I will go online with the game and then I'll tell you the user, but it will probably be the same as my nick in the forum :nuts: I'm dying to race against other users.

Well, I can promise you I got all the houses. Maybe it's when you complete all the long distance races there are. For example, to the north there are two races which are around 70 km. long, which go approx. from north-west to south-east. I've also done those. I don't know if it has to do with it, but I can assure you I've got all the houses. weirdblue
:) Okay, i'll try that. I did the race on easy last night, and it took 52 minutes so I was a bit annoyed :mad: , but i'll have another go on normal and do some more long distance races. I'll post again when I have done it. :nuts:
I think i've worked it out, maybe its the series of race called 'II Vaggio something', or something like that but i'm struggling on the time series ones.

Ok i'm just sturggling with the big long 25 mile timed race which you are not allowed to go off road in. What car did you do it in?

I used a McLaren F1, which allows that when you choose "normal" difficulty, all the cars are the same as yours. The only thing you mustn't forget is... THE BRAKE EXISTS! :) If you drive braking in difficult turns, you can do it more or less ok. Just give it a try.
As to what level I'm in (in reply to tdu2468), I'm in master level with more than 3 million points. Now I'm struggling to find some races (now I remember one called "bretzel") which don't appear in my map. I believe that as I continue winning races in different clubs (I still have to be the president of 8-10 more clubs) those races will appear.

Could you tell me how many races are in the Il Vaggio series, because i have done 4 of them so far, also, had you already completed every other race before that, or do u still have races to do, Please reply cos i really want to sell some houses for car improvements!

Well i hav won all the houses now, sold all of them apart from ones with 10 garage spaces :) I only did 4-5 races from the Il viaggio grande series, if anyone wants to know more, ask me cos i'll be happy to help.

When you talk about "Il viaggio", does the English version say "Il Viaggio"? The Spanish version has that text translated and it calls it "El gran viaje", which means "the great trip". Weird that they didn't translate that text to English, because it's Italian...

Is this the PSP version your talking about? Because i've completed ALL challenges for both PSP and Xbox360 and there was no challenge prize's giving away houses...let alone all of them.
Unless your playing the PS2 version but i'd still find it extremly unlikely that you got all the houses for just winning a single challenge no matter how long it was. weirdblue

Well, it was what I thought at first, but it's been demonstrated in all the posts of this topic that I was wrong about my believing and that it's not only that race to get all the houses. If you read all the posts in the subject, you'll notice it's (apparently) when you complete all the race challenges of a series called "Il Viaggio" (English version) or "El Gran Viaje" (Spanish version). Of course, I'm talking of the PSP version (Spanish version, to be more precise). If it were the PS2 version, I'd have posted the message in the PS2 forum of TDU :wink2: There is nothing that indicates that when you finish all those challenges you get the houses, but I assure you I got them after doing this race (which was the last "long distance" race I did, so this could be a reson why I got them after finishing this one, being the other possible reason reaching a certain percentage of completion of the game).
If you have finished all the challenges in the PSP version, the only things I can think of why you didn't get the houses are:
1.- You didn't get gold medals in all of them.
2.- You didn't play in normal/hard mode.
I think that option 1 is more possible than option 2, because I haven't seen that the game distinguishes between "easy" gold medals and "hard" gold medals. I don't know if you get the houses by winning the races in easy mode, because I played the races directly in normal and hard mode.
I can assure you I have finished all the single player challenges in the game (I haven't got WiFi, so no multiplayer for me, I'm afraid... :cry: ) and that there are 164 possible gold cups to be achieved (note this includes being the president of all the clubs too!), because in fact I have a 100% completion of the PSP version of TDU.
So in a few words, I'm not exactly sure which race(s) are needed to be granted all the houses, but what I am sure is that you get ALL the houses (56 if I don't remember bad, I'm not at home at the moment so I can't check it out) after racing several challenges in normal/hard difficulty.

Yes i won "ALL" the houses, u hav to do "ALL" the Il Viaggio Grande series to win the houses, Yeah it is for PSP aswell
