So, I borrowed TDU Unlimited from a friend, installed it with his cd-key and all that. Found that I liked the game, and went out to buy a copy so we could play against each other, or so i thought.

Because after i had uninstalled his copy, to install my own, I wasnt prompted to enter my cd-key... So I must conclude I'm still playing with his.

How do I change, or FULLY remove TDU so i can enter my own CD-Key, and will I still be able to keep my game progress, cars, unlocked roads etc?

Well whooppdeeduu, didnt notice i had gotten a reply by email, since it was sent to the junk folder (thanks thunderbird)

I will post the reply here for others to come...

Dear Daniel

- Open C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Test Drive
Unlimited
- Edit the CDkey.txt (contains only the cd key) and replace the last 4
digits with xxx

When you restart the game, you will be prompted to enter the key and you
will be able to insert your own key.

Kind regards

On Vista goto C:\ProgramData\TestDriveUnlimited and make the same changes to CDKey.txt
