Does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this? I have reinstalled it but it didnt fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Other games work fine?
This could have a lot of reasons, starting from corrupted drivers, directx files, through TDU issues, to hardware malfunction. I would suggest you to reinstall the drivers, disabling any overclock you might have applied to your HW and run a virusscan, just to make sure. Also, can you please post your system specs?

Iv ran a virus scan and reinstalled the display drivers but it hasnt fixed it. Other games iv tried are working fine.
These are my system specs:
Operating System: Windows XP Professional, Service Pack 2
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200 ~ 2.2GHz
Memory: 1024MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c
Card name: RADEON X850 Series
Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc.
Chip type: ATI Radeon Graphics Processor AGP (0x4B49)
DAC type: Internal DAC(400MHz)
Display Memory: 256.0 MB
Ufff... I'm slowly running out of ideas here, man :)
I would try to uninstall TDU (yeah, again), then go to your Documents folder, locate the Test Drive Unlimited directory and rename it (or backupping and erasing it), in case there are corrupted savegame files. Also when you have uninstalled TDU, run Start Menu -> Run... -> regedit and find/delete any registry keys regarding Atari/Eden/Test Drive Unlimited (if you're not quite sure what I mean, then by all means skip this step as failing that might seriously injure your windows).
Then reinstall TDU (yeah, again...) and see if it is OK.
By the way, ATI have just recently updated their drivers, it might be sound to check if you have them.
And one last question - do the TDU intro movie files play fine?

Have you tried changing the ingame resolution trick?
Just try and go to Video then change res, them click cancel if it asks you if you want to keep new settings...mind you my graphical hiccups never looked as bad as yours
