Call me thick- but how do you play single player mode offline

When I installed I used a gamespy name, now whenever game starts I have to go online, and if server is down, I cant play.

I want to play offline !!!!!!

I checked manual and it doesnt tell you anything useful.

Please somebody tell me how ....

yeah, same here, tough its not as i would like 2 play offline so badly, just wanted to try WHAT IF i got no connection for some reason, maintaining and so on, could i play TDU? no eekblue:
it says cannot connect to server, has to quit...

Easy...going from memory here so bear with me...

Hit 'ESC' in-game, go to profiles.
Create a new profile and make sure the box next to the Gamespy is not checked.
Now start your offline racing with this new profile.
You can switch between the two profiles.
