Since i turned the traffic off(only in offline mode), TDU has been running fine, in some regions, but now it doesn't even quit properly- it just freezes. Also, sometimes, it just quits halfway through, prompting me to click debug and close the game. i'm sure its got nowt to do with my specs- 2.1GHz, 7600GT, and 1GB of RAM. Apparently, its an AppCompat issue- dunno what that means- can anyone help? (take into account the fact that i'm 15 and a bit of a n00b)

SERVES YOU RIGHT...

i dont mean it nasty - i just not a huge fan of ppl editing the game for any reason to be honest goes against the grain for me

sorry if i offended ya, but it made the game really slow- and i also found out that it was also affecting shutdown of the game-which is why it wouldn't quit properly. so, i ain't gonna be using that again! happy now?

however, i still have the problem of it closing down halfway thorugh a race or summat- it asks me to close or debug, but theres nowt i can do to carry on playing...any help? please?

BIT HARSH, to tell him to take that action...

i should think, remove test drive unlimited and re-installing would be enough and depend how much altering of the games files you have done might just get away with just putting the originals back in place.

if i decided to actually to do that, and i kept the savegame folder, will any of my game data be lost?

No in fact if you just uninstall it and reinstall the Savegame folder will remain fully intact.(but of course backing it up is always a good idea)

Damn!!!! guess what?....it happened again! i uninstalled and reinstalled like you told me to, but it still froze and crashed during free-ride! any other helpful advice guys/girls? apparently, its some kind of runtime error. does R6025 mean anything to anyone? :mefiant:
