Hi.

Is there any way to get TDU to recognise the xbox 360 controller? Some buttons and the POV digital joypard part are picked up, but the game ignores the analog sticks and triggers.

Anyone got it working?

I've got the wireless one working, triggers and all, so I don't see why the wired one wouldn't work.

Try holding down the trigger / analog stick in the direction you want - ie for 'steer left' hold the stick to the left for a few seconds. God willing it should say "Waiting for neutral position', let go of the stick, and voila. Same deal for the triggers, hold one all the way in.

A really annoying deal with the 360 controller is, it classes both rear triggers as the same axis. Meaning, if they were brake and accelerate, you wouldn't be able to do both - it would think both are in neutral. I think there are some wiggy unofficial drivers out there (http://www.redcl0ud.com/xbcd.html) which may sort that, but try those at your own risk. I can't try them myself as it doesn't support the wireless pad.

i'm currently using a wired 360 controller at the moment using both analog sticks one to drive and one to look around. when i first started up tdu for the first time the game wouldn't pick up the analog sticks. so i rebooted and the game picked them up, which was weird.

i bought an xbox360 controller mainly for the triggers for adjustable throttle which works nicely but what sensitivity settings do you have your steering at? i cant get the analog stick to handle right it seems it wants to either turn way to much or not at all. if i try to just tap the analog stick right or left the car doesnt turn but if i move it alot more then it wants to turn way too much and then i just spin out trying to correct it moving the stick the other way.... so i went back to my Saitek Rumble Force gamepad i dont use analog on it either, tapping the right/left buttons seems to allow for much more responsive controls. but even on the 360 controller those seem unresponsive. compared to the saitek.

thats odd i mean i haven't adjusted any settings for sensitivity. the controller was fine from the start. is the controller setup properly through windows?
