There's one person in the French PC forum that says the savegame bug always appears when there is an unavailability of the online servers. Check here (use an online translator if you don't know French to get the idea).

To xyz123 (I can't remember your nick again!!! eekblue: But you know who you are), could this be the source of your corrupted savegame?

Check the other post of the savegame bug. I've set some tips so that you send your corrupted savegame to Atari. Nonetheless, I'm starting to SERIOUSLY think it has something to do with online gameplay and loss of connection with Atari server (be aware that this loss of connection can be due to Atari or to your ADSL supplier...). As an IT tech, I know that the loss of network packages in computers gives all kind of errors in every single program, and it's crucial that the connections are stable to keep the programs stable. And I've just remembered that here in Spain, I had some ADSL suppliers that gave many, MANY problems with archive transfers using PC Anywhere, and after tracking the problem, it was due to the inestability of the transfer speed in the ADSL supplier.

And another point is that it's not normal that you get your savegame corrupted two times in two weeks, and I, after playing for more than 36 hours gameplay and finishing the whole game 100%, don't get my savegame corrupted (and apparently, the only difference between your savegame and mine is that you go online while I don't).

Anyway, good luck and I hope I've been of help.

i found a bug about the savefile, but dont really know does it really relate to the corrupt game save problem. When i loaded my game save inside the game, it displayed it was 10% completion, that is different as the 18% i saw in the PSP saved data utility menu eekblue:
