New downloads glitches?

Since i downloaded the new lexus' i have found that every time im onlinee and going over 200mph after about 1.5miles a big hole opens in the floor that looks like a swamp, when i go into it (im going too fast too stop) underneath it is water and it makes me respawn, after that it takes 3mins to load back up normally.

It always happens when i am going too fast too stop though so when i try to do a quick 180 i still fall in, this is a real problem.

Has anyone else had this problem and has anyone got any advice?

never happened to me...is this only in one place or everytime you go over 200?

nearly everytime i go over and no its mostly in the city centre

I've also had a friend that drives the new Lexus and it's all glitched out. Acceleration is faster then any other car in the game. NOTHING can beat it off the line. And it goes 210 MPH. When he's in his garage looking at the Lexus, it has a title of a Honda CBRxxxx.

this "Swamp" thing has happened to me several times in different cars, they're all when i've been going fast. doesn't normally take much time to respawn though.
the "swamp" is just what would normally be far in the distance so there doesn't need to be any detail to it. i believe it is caused by the console not loading the environment you are driving into quick enough. i don't think there's anything you can do about it apart from slow down (which ain't much help i know)

yeah ive had that happen about once or twice, ive also found the cars are a bit faster ive had my SLR upto 239! thats 11mph more than it should! and also the V8 vantage at 211! 6 more than possible! i think its better :)

its happened to me for a while now, it may have happened before the dlc pack but i dunno, mercedes gullwing for me then eekblue:your disc isn't damaged is it, there may be something stopping the disc being read so quickly because the Gullwing ain't exactly the fastest car in the game!

ive noticed that, my ccr goes 283 without me pushing it, im gunna try and go in the top 10 on 180 in heavy traffic, ive now cleaned my disc

go for it! might do good. i am gona try the bikes see if they are quicker! i beat an MV Agusta Tamburini last night on the Z1000 i was in hardcore he wasnt! stage 2 Z Stage 3 MV and i hammerd him to 150! he was like ugh yeah try again! i like this faster thing :)

i m still waiting for the murcielago roadster..ATARI u are damn $%$#@# slow..pls work faster..i want the roadster..i have been saying this more then a zillion times..

If everyone keeps complaining about DLC and the problems that may (or may not) be caused by said DLC then no wonder it takes longer for it to come out!!!,
it is nigh impossible to test every scenario that could possibly happen in the game, just think of the number of hours that just the users of these forums put into the game, then imagine how many testers it would take to get anywhere near that kind of figure. i'm sure you can imagine where i'm going...
i know lots of people are not complaining and are happy with the game, just know things could be MUCH worse Click here, i wish all the families of the victims all the luck for the future.

Yep, happened to me a few months back - was in fact due to my Xbox360 packing up! A few weeks after this started, the machine gave up the ghost! The good ol' ring of death thing? Got a replacement machine now and all is okay!!

i dont know how they can work harder weve seen shots of it before the game came out. how long has it been and we stil dont have i :mefiant:

the way i look at tdu is they are loads ofproblems that are mostly small (to me) i would rather atari give us tdu2 without bugs and amazing things rather than them trying to fix this game

yeah it shows they are doing work... but to be honest i mean im pleased that we havent been forgotten but i mean lexus.. cmon man what can they compete with? other traffic prehaps lol just kidding im sure everyone will be pleased with the new DLC but we have to wait a few more days.. mdr1
