Gamepad 2nd Thumbstick configuration

I've configured the 2nd thumbstick on my Logitech Rumblepad 2 to Look/View in the game options, but in the game I seem to only be able to sort of zoom in and out, allthe other controls work fine, anyone else had this prob and know how to sort it?

Just found this in the readme



"If you play with a joystick, you will not be able to change the default configuration if your joystick does not have an auto-center calibration feature"



Surely this only applies to steering wheels!?*@

To get round this, I swapped the Sticks under windows/gampad advanced settings, then, swapped the Dpad/joystick control with a button (mode) on my Logitech gampad.
This is the only game I know that has this problem and I have to change the setting under windows every-time I want to play a different game with a gamepad.
Atari support have never got back to me about this issue (UK and US) which is naff.
Also, the gamepad button numbers displayed in game for you to press, are A: different from my gamepads actual numbered buttons , which are quite different to the button No's the game assigns buttons in the controls section, this is a right pain and took me a while to fully understand.
Apart from these annoying bugs, this is a great that hasn't crashed on me once yet, it's just a shame about the lack of support for the problems I have had.
