How do you create a friends list????

Title, I've no idea how the book doesn't mention it and can't find any information on the web as to how.

This has got to be one of the most user unfriendly games I've ever played.

Well while in game press F then press right on the numpad, a list should pop up of all players around you who are in free mode. Then press right again on the name of the player you wish to add to your friends list and it should ask you if you want to add them.

I have no idea how to access the friends list once you have added people on it though LOL i have added people and the game has said this person is already on your friends list??? Where is the friends list???

friends list comes up when you enter a club :)
