View Full Version : Price bug?
It seems that when buying cars above 1mil, the price of the rim and paint u add on is x10. Say like for the Ferarri F430, the price is $1.5m, the rim costs $2k and the 'Rosso Fiorano' paint costs another $1.5k. So the total should be $1,503,500. However the game does this: $1.5m + 20k + 15k = $1.535m.
Anyone else notice/have this problem?

ekhem the price for f430 is 150k not 1.5 mln. the price issue is known when you are using a nocd *****.

are you using a nocd? this normaly makes the cars more expensive
Yeah I agree with these guys, a no-cd craque is causing this. It causes all prices in game to have an extra '0' added to them. That explains this mystery...

Why do so many people use nocd *****s? All it does is save about 5 seconds, and stops you from doing the tiniest amount of physical activity! I mean, I'm lazy, but I wanna meet the guy who needs that! And if a guy really is that lazy, why would he buy the game in the first place?!?!? It really is pointless.

Exactly my point. People who are that lazy shouldn't really be allowed to live, should they? Yeah, I'm thinking :guns: all round.

Seriously? you don't get it? If you play more than one game it saves you having to keep swapping disks, removes the risk of damaging disks, though exposes you to some dodgy websites as a trade off.
...i'm just surprised you jumped on your high horse

I agree!
Swapping, say, 6 different disks and having them out all over the desk is a pain in the butt. Not to mention the fact that the more you use a disk, the more it will inevitably get scratched.
Since I'm annoyed about paying for TDU the first time round, I'd be fuming if I had to replace the disk due to wear and tear, just because the developers insist on the having the disk in the drive.....pfft..<expletive deleted> them!!
The direct download chaps don't need a disk in the drive, so why should we??

It's a completely different matter! No-cd patches modify the game. Therefore, they can be considered illegal. And don't forget, there are some companies who eventually release a proper software patch that removes the need for a CD, e.g. UT2004. Keep the disk in its box then! It may be a little perplexing, but still...
If you want to play on a cracked copy of a game, that has bugged up pricing, and doesn't allow you to play multiplayer, be my guests!

you know you have to place it in your cd-drive right? not throw it in.
I've never scratched a single disk, but I do use 2 cd drives, so I can keep my most played games in longer ;)
I leave disks around all the time, I've yet to have a single one become unreadable after many many years of doing it. They're tough little things :)
