I've been playing racing games for 5 years, I was 9 when I started. I played all of the car games that were out from 95/2000.

The game that first amazed me was POWER F1 for that year it was pretty cool game.
this summer I got F1 RACING SIMULATION I can say that was the most amazing game I've seen in my whole life.

Cool graphics, realistic crashes, feel of speed. But the only thing that I didn't see again, was smart AI. The comp crashes in you if you drive slow or they do all kinds of things that don't/can't happen in real life.
That's problem with all of the car games.

The only game I've seen that has real time AI is Le Mans. The AI's are just amazing.
Heandling- What the f**k are you talking, the heandling isn't realistic, have you ever been in a VIPER. My dad's friend has one and he drove me with it with 240km/h. THIS GAME HAS ONE OF THE MOST REALISTIC HEANDLING.

Graphics- The graphics are just amazing. The road looks amazing too. In all of the games the road is small as hell, you can say crapy, not realistic at all. But in this game the road looks just amazing.
oo, I forgot something. The night looks just perfect. In most of the car games there is shading in the night, or light without any lamps.
Only few things that I don't like.
No internal view, no network/multiplay support, the light looks like square.

If I have to rank this game I'll give it 8.9
or 9.2.

As a fan of Formula1 and Le Mans I think I understand of cars.

I've been watching racing for over 25 years and am fairly obsessed by PC racing since buying a PC back in 91.

Although I agree with a couple of your comments like the handling it still edges towards the Arcade rather than the sim.

After all the Hype the game seem to be missnig various things, multiplayer, in car displays and the boast of a no pop display is crazy.

So where are the TV replays I read about and more control of over the draw distances would be good, it doesn't seem to exploit the multi texture mapping of the TNT2 to it's fullest at all.

As this was meant to have been released 2 months ao it looks like a rush job to get it out for the PC. It just seems to creep into the shops without any advertising, don't know what it was like in your area. It was only because I was looking for another racing game that i came across it.

As a game it's good, I have been able to point out to people where I've stood round the track and the bit I've driven on, plus i only seem to have 24 cars in a full Le Mans mode, anybody have anymore??? where are the rest

the lack of mirror is a pain. I know you can look behind but you don't see many drivers doing that.

As a game 7.5, with all bits everybody has been saying it would be a classic... At least we hear a bit of Tiff....

well, anybody missing anything.......
Doesn't sound good about the patch :-(

Okay so you have been in a viper but at 14 you can not drive one so how do you know how it handles?

Have you been to a racing school like me? Do you own TOCA2 or SCGT on the PC? Or ever GP2? Now thats more like real handling!

The wheel spin for example in Le Mans is totally rubbish, you cannot get of the blocks without wheel spin even if you change up the gears? Realistic 'AI', I think not! Does that happen in real Le Mans or F1, No!

Come back and comment on a game Cyborg when you really know how thing work!

Regards

Simon

Played race games for 10 years, been to Le Mans 4 times, and countless other races.

I've been playing all of the car games from 95/2000 that were out, so I think I know better than you about games. ALL GAMES REMEMBER THAT.

There is many things that could be done better in the game I agree with that. The most perfect game I've seen is Formula1 Racing Simulation. You have to buy that game. It's amazing.
Another good game is Rally Championship 2000, or there is a Le Mans game called Sports Car GT it's pretty cool game. The only problem with it is that there is no damage, there is but it's not real.

TOCA2 is good though but not enough. The only car game I've never tryed is GP500.

The game with the best graphics is Ford Racing. 1million pixel are used to draw every object on the race track.

What do you mean you can't start without speening the wheels, if you can't that's your problem not mine, cause I can.

I've been playing the best games that were out in the years 93-95, on my first comp. The game that was realy good was a Formula1 game but I forgot the name.
And a really impressing game that was out in 1994 was lotus.
