And it's not a very positive one. But, frankly, I find that review to be very superficial !

Yes, I bet Kenneth has spent less than half an hour to do his review. What about the lack of replays. What about the LeMans track not being complete. And FF is truly strong but if you reduce it with you wheel profiler, it is ok. The AI is not terrible. Frankly, I'm a fan of SCGT and I think the AI in Le Mans behave way much better than in SCGT. In LeMans mode they act very real. They don't push you off the road from behind. They don't all follow the exact same line like in SCGT so that you know exactly where to pass them.
The sounds are not good in some cars but they much better in others to the point that you know when to change gear without looking at the rpm display. And speed sensation is not good with the Konrad Porsche and the Marcos but with other faster cars, it is ok. It is really strange though that Infogrames has published this game without replays, rear view mirror, multi player and a coice of those really slow cars as the game's starting point. All of this together will put off many people and make them think that the game is not good which is not true. Today I was racing with the 1999 BMW LMP had a terrible crash and the car exploded in flames. Besides GPL and ?? in which other games you that kind of damage and DNF. Yesterday I saw a yellow flag waving and thought it probably meant nothing but right after taking a turn I saw one of the AI in flames in the middle of the track. Now that show wasted because of the lack of replays.

I think the game can be improved a lot with a patch.

This my humble opinion.

Jordi, I'm quite agree with you. After one hour with this game, I found it wasn't really a good simulation of Le Mans race. But after four days and two full nights with this game, my opinion has changed and I found this game very realistic (in professional mode).
I think that if in a patch, Infogrames adds replay, 48 cars in Le Mans race and the multiplayer mode, it can be one of the more exciting car simulation, especially for the Le Mans fanatics like me...

I can totally agree with everything you guys said... this is the first time I ever played a racing game featuring pit strategies, Engine Fires, Damage and lots of other fun points with this game... and I've played a lot of other Racing games

After reading that review, I'm totally shocked by what they had to say about it. all I have to say is that the person who reviewed the game doesn't have enough experience listening to GT engine sounds... I found that it's easy to shift gears listening to the sounds...
