I only see one player all the rest has got the connection problem icon before their names.

Is this my problem or the other players? or a server problem.
I'm in a DMZ on my router so that shouldn't be the problem

The problem is with the incoming ports, even if your not behind your firewall (highly unrecommended) the router still needs to know which PC connected to your router the incoming traffic has to be routed too (even if you only have 1 PC attached).

See this (http://testdriveunlimited.freeforums.org/viewtopic.php?t=33) for info on setting up NetGear based routers
BT Hub and Thompson routers info here (http://testdriveunlimited.freeforums.org/viewtopic.php?t=7)

Port Forwarding incoming traffic from port 8889 UDP to my TDU PC IP address is what worked for me. I make it a habit not to touch D-Link so you'll have to work out how to add that yourself. Try www.portforward.com for some help.

if it has just started happening and it's been fine for 2 months and nothing has changed on your pc,that would lead me to think that either your ISP is having a bad day or your just being unlucky and just getting conected to badly connected users today, sorry i can't be more help than that :) if you want to learn how to setup your router so you don't have to DMZ this site can be quite helpfull http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm D-Link routers are right at the bottom :)
