After a 24 hours run ...

I just finished my first 24 hours attempt (in real time) with the Konrad GT2 and ... I win the race 1 lap before the second (a BMW)... So I win the BMW 99 and now, I must try the Pro mode ...
After many hours of tests, finally, I find this game quite good ... no perfect but no so bad I said 2 weeks ago... http://www.infogrames.fr/ubb/smile.gif
A question for other players ... I play in all modes and I win many races but apart from Arcade mode, I don't get new cars so I have to run Le Mans with The Konrad Porsche. Can someone explain me how getting new cars (except with cheat codes) ?

I assume you did not drive the full 24 hours in one sitting. So HOW were you able to save the game? I have yet to get more than an hour into the game before it locks my system up, but I DID get a chance once to go into the pits, but the SAVE GAME option was not available to me http://www.infogrames.fr/ubb/frown.gif If only I could save it, I MIGHT be able to load the save-game and continue on for another hour till a crash of the system.

As you progress in the endurance races you will receive E-Mail , where other companies offer you to drive for them .

The sequence is as follows :

Drive in GT-2 and according to your points you get offer's from other GT-2 teams and eventually from a Prototype team , sign up with them and then you start a new season with the Prototype - here now comes the same again - after some good races other Prototype teams offer you their car and eventually you get a GT-1 offer and here you have to progress in the points to get a better GT-1 car .

Thanks to you, Seahawk... I think I'm too in a hurry to get new cars... So I will continue my championship... and wait for contacts ...

Regarding the saving option, when you go into pits, you change your tyres, refuel and don't click on Terminate option... After several seconds, the Save possibility becomes enabled and you can choose it... It's quite surprising (the first time, I can't save the game too, like you). After you can close the pits session.
I do this 24h full race in 3 hours steps (3 pit stops) with the last run of 5 hours without any crashes.... Very interesting with a GT2 because it's quite hard to win before GT1 which run 100km/h faster in hunaudieres straight....
