Problem with GeForce256 DDR

Got a brand new system with Athlon650 and Guillemot GeForce 256 DDR card, problem is that the game crashes every single time I try to start it, once I got as far as the main menu. Any ideas how to solve the problem?


Drivers, Yes I have the latest official drivers from Guillemot (3.62a), AMD AGP Miniport 4.45, even the latest BIOS for motherboard, I had serious problems with crashes in games before I installed all of this, but now everything else works perfectly fine, except this game.


While waiting for ideas, I got 3.75 Drivers for Ge256 so I guess I try those.

I have an ELSA Erazor X which uses the same GeForce 256 processor. I had problems with the ELSA drivers so I tried the Nvidia reference drivers and they seem to work fine. It might be worth a try.....

Just to clear up anybody thinking it's the Athlon, I'm running it on an VIA Board with an Athlon and a TNT2 Ultra without a problem.

I have already seen problems with the GeForce on several games including this one and Alien V Pred. Something is not quite right with it.

Installed latest drivers from nvidia and game runs just fine.
