View Full Version : nobody playing test drive unlimited online anymore??
WHY TDU SERVER always not available? i cant see any player online at all.. seems like nobody playin this game any more?
There's plenty of people online right now. You must have either a bad connection or you get on the servers when the majority of players are at work, school or sleeping etc.
It's really busy when I get on at around 3AM-4AM my time which is GMT +10

i dont know. i even try creating a new acc and its still not available.

I think your not linking to a gamespy account are you ?
when you first get ingame and get to the "menu" screen, does it have a popup that says "connecting to TDU servers... blah blah blah...." ?
if not, then your not logging in and cannot access the online features.
I just got done playing for several hours and about 3 dozen MP races, so I know its up :)

Did u have a copy of the game b4 that u downloaded, ie a mdf or simular??

i dont understand wad is a mdf or simular. i actually download it b4 in my old com and i manage to play online, after changin my new com, everytime i go in there will be tdu server not available.

its a image you mount in daemon tools.
Anyway i had same problem as i downloaded the beta version, when i eventually bought the game and tried logging in using the profile i created on beta it said TDU server unvailable, tried creating new profile and same problem existed.
This was all on the same pc btw... So i tried everything, thought it might be the registry files or something but im may be wrong. In the end i re-formatted my pc
which completely removed all traces of the game. installed again, created profile and i was in. Format was a last resort but i had to do it and it worked.

if u had a downloaded version b4, u probably had to enter a key then.
Thats the problem i had, it never asked me to enter s/n even when i had the full game (hence why i said registry files)

hmm, if i remember rightly it should ask you once you click the TDU icon after installing it.
i am not sure and the mannual says that this is your CD key. Do not lose it or you will be unable to reinstall it.

If you just uninstalled and reinstalled it wont ask for your key again as it didnt get removed. IF you had a previous key or beta installed then you will have to delete the old key. Im at work so I cant give you the exact location of the file but its in Documents and Settings/All Users/App Data.... Im sure someone whos on their own machine can give you its exact location.
i see.. but i already downloaded it on another motherboard which is my old com. and so the cd key stuck to that motherboard 4ever?

then delete cdkey.txt
start tdu up now and it will ask to input a cdkey
good luck
wow this is amazing. after i delete my cd key i can connect directly!! but after i restart the game they ask me for the cd key after i type it, cannot connect to the server AGAIN!!

maid:i thought you didn't wanted to use it anymore so i threw it away..
Me:WHAT!!!why on earth did you do that!!
so i went furious and gave up and i went here and wondered if anybody knew the authentication key ....if you do know it could you send it to me to jack2421992@yahoo.com to keep it discreet and i swear to god i won't expose the cd-key,For real..!oh god please help, i'd do anything for it(except money)sob sob sob.... :noooo: i want to play online again :noooo:

If you can afford a maid, then you can afford to buy a new copy of the game.
Even if you do pay the maid ridiculously low wages.

Lol... no offense, but thats the lamest attempt to get a CD key that I've heard in a long time... even if its true! Contact Atari... you wont get a key from anyone else.
