Destiny Force Feedback Steering Wheel

I have a Destiny Force Feedback Steering wheel and I don't seem to be able to get it set up properly for the game. No matter how much I tweak the settings I cannot stop the wheel from juddering as I drive. It works fine with all other sims. Has anybody any suggestions as to what I should do ?

I guess my wheel was on the way out. I have a new wheel now (saitek) which works like a dream.
