I am using a TNT2 graphics card running Direct 3D and the graphics are really bad. The buildings along the side of the track, the guard rails and even the grass are invisible (transparent). Does anyone else run into this problem? If it has been fixed, please advise me.
It looks great with Voodoo3 in GLIDE. I
suspect the problem is with your drivers.
The latest version is 3.68 or something.
Go to NVIDIA's site and check the latest
ones.
Good luck!
I'm using a TNT2 Ultra and am not having the problems you mentions, although I would not use the reference drivers as I had a great of trouble getting TOCA2 and F1RS2 to work after I'd put them on.
The weird thing I've noticed is the line at the edge of the track, it seems to go from a fuzzy line to perfect line about a 1/3 of the way up the screen.
The same issue occured in TOCA2, but as soon as you increased the draw distance the Max everything was fine. This game seems limited in it's graphics options, a gamma control would be nice, as I've seen it running on a standard TNT and every other game works fine, but this one is so dark.
Yes! I am having exactly the same problem - the game is completely unplayable and I'm starting to get the feeling that I have wasted £25.00.
Be very careful with the TNT2 drivers as they crashed my computer completely.
Are Infogrames going to release a patch or are they going to continue to lie that their game supports the TNT2 chipset?
Where did you buy it for £25 it cost me £30 :-(
Le Mans provides full support to TNT2 based cards so long as you use the latest drivers for your video board.
The Detonator 3.68 drivers work pretty well with the game; you may find them at :

Have you try to update your drivers with the LAST manufacturer drivers, not the generic one!

When you have the fuzzy sides of the road in TOCA2 or SCGT, and now perhaps LeMans, you need to go into your TNT Display Properties and set the MIPMAP LEVELS to 2 or less in the D3D tab.
I had exactly the same problem with my Creative TNT2 ultra using the latest driver from Creative. I installed the latest (3.68) detonator driver from Nvidia and it cured the problem :-)

HI!
Try to install the nVidia drivers detonator 3.68 from nVIDIA site ( before you must delete all the drivers and contorl panel of your card. I use a ASUS AGP V3800 TVR TNT2 32MB SGram and I have do this and now 24 Hours and many others game run coreectly (such as Spots Cars GT, Suoperbike World Championship......).Try and tell me.
One question: don't you think this game must be improved for example with new view form dash and eye driver?
