I have the same f$*&"@ problem....I'm stocked at the same place... I think the only way to win is to know the track by heart... I know the damn track but MAN...it's really hard!!! By the way do you notice image slowdown on long straightway or when there's a couple of cars around you? This occurs almost all the time for me... i'm running a K6-2 350 with a Monster Fusion video card...

Thanx

I have only just bought the game, I logged on to see if there was a patch available, in the night scenes, the game appears unplayable as there is no forward headlights!

sorry but no I dont have any slowdown's - I run a P-III 500 with an ATI-Rage Fury 32MB and dual Voodoo 2 ( 12MB each ) - I tryed about everything .

I visited the original 24 hrs of Daytona , Le Mans and Nueburgring-Germany and car's there had extra headlights attached during their pitstops for the night .

I tryed to run it from my ATI with increased gamma but no change , I disabled the SLI on my Voodoo's but nothing either - I changed my monitor settings , but nothing there either - I just dont know .

Not totally agree with you, Seahawk. I went Le Mans since 1983 and I never saw new lights on car during night except on GT2 cars. On prototype, you just have the original lights which are very close to track so I find normal to don't see very well.
For me, I succeed in running by night (it's was a bit hard the first time) and when I'm in night, I increase the power of my car (motor breethes better in night owing to lower temperature) and so I get my best laps in night. When you know the track by heart, it isn't so hard you would like to say.

forgive me my error but yes you are right - I had a look trough my photos and this applys only to the GT-2's , while in Germany at the 24hrs of the Nueburgring it's anyway touring-cars and they do carry at night added headlights
