I was under the impression that all profiles were a combo singleplayer/online anyway but it sounds like certain people are purely using an offline profile?
Is there any added content in offline profiles, bottom line any good reason to play an offline game?

Only real difference I noticed was that the cops chase you in free drive, otherwise you are missing all the multiplayer features...

To my knowledge there is no difference. My 'good' profile has been offline from day one. I'm waiting until the patch before I try to convert it to online. I really hope it works because I don't want to have to do all the challenges and earn my money/cars again. :mefiant:

You can't convert a profile to online you have to start another one.
StephenJWolfe, You are mistaken, though glitches are certainly possible, but it is possible :)

I run in offline mode, because I use a trainer.
Using a trainer online, at least in my book, makes you scum of the earth so I stick to offline mode.

if only most people using a trainer were as sensible as you :bravo:
I have no problem with people cheating as long it's offline

Well at least the game can turn your online account into an offline one !
Happened to me yesterday, and although I do have some backup, I can't create a new online account and then replace the savegame, because TDU says it saves but when you then quit the game and go to the save directory, there's just... emptiness...

You can convert offline profiles to online and vice versa.
You just need hex workshop and the advice on this forum

The vast majority are, its just the script kiddies who give the trainer using community a bad name.
