I have an ATI Rage Fury 32 with DirectX7 installed and I have not problem. Perhaps try to install DirectX7 and see !

I have the All in wonder card, based on the same chipset with no apparant problems, except I can see almost nothing in the dark!

I run the ATI Rage Fury 32MB with no problems .
