Please help!

I can't get the game to start. The 3DFX logo appeards, then I get the draw_enumdll() dll open enum failed error and return to Windows 98.

Here are some details of my config :

Windows 98, English
Intel Celeron 333MHz
128 MB RAM
2x 4.3GB Quantum Fireball IDE HDs (lots of free space)
Pioneer 12X CD-ROM
S3 968 PCI video card with 2MB
Deltron Flash3D (3dfx Voodoo-1) card with 4MB
Creative Labs SB16 PnP sound card
DirectX 7.0a

The drivers for the Deltron Flash3D are dated 12/1998, and are DirectX 6 and Glide 2.45 compatible (can run Tomb Raider 4, for example).

I have 4MB on the 3dfx card, but NOT on the S3 video card.

So what / where is the problem ???

Thanks.

More info, after trying some more last night:

I renamed enum.dll (to enum.old) in the game's BIN directory, and was able to get into the game's configuration area (sound, game controller, car, track, etc), but when I get to selecting a track and wanting to start actually driving, the game crashes with an error in glide.dll and returns to Windows 98.

What the f--k is WRONG ???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem. Did you find the solution?

Yes, but it involved replacing the following:

S3 968 PCI video card with 2MB and
Deltron Flash3D (3dfx Voodoo-1) card with 4MB

with

VooDoo3 2000 16MB PCI video card

Now, the game works fine.

PS. While I had the PC open I also replaced:

Intel Celeron 333MHz
Pioneer 12X CD-ROM
Creative Labs SB16 PnP sound card

with

Intel Celeron 533MHz
Cyberdrive 40x CD-ROM
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! sound card
