Yet another thread about the patch

I'm not gonna ask when the patch will be coming, lets face it even if they told us, the date will probably change again, anyway.
No, what I want to know is can anyone confirm if Atari has decided to remove the Audi RS4 and Nissan Skyline R34 from the patch. And if so WHY??

There was no such an official statement to my best knowledge, cars they promised will be in the patch, I wouldn't worry at all if I were you :)

Oh My word i've refrained from moaning about the patch the whole time but I just can't believe it's not out yet! eekblue:

My game is perfect in every way but I just spent all my money on a custom build system. For a lot of you guys I feel really, really sorry. I'd like to see the patch anyway. Possibly the worst customer service ever.

Agree with you I do Vertiglow Perhaps instead of giving random dates out they should just STFU untill its ready to go out and then announce it.

Or in a better way make incremental patches like most other game developers. Instead of trying to fix everything in one go... Atleast that way the main issues are resolved 80% of customers are happy and its just the little things that are left to sort with smaller (less important) issues.

But I am just a customer and it seems that i am not important to eden, atari or infograms whoever...

I dont like to moan, this game just hasn't got the customer care that other developers provide... Lucasarts, EA, Sierra Etc... I can remember when a patch was seriously needed for FEAR, Sierra actually acknowledge the customer complaints and issued a quick fix patch whilst the main one was being finished off.... I believe it was the 1.05 patch with an official apology on the FEAR sub site. If Atari or whoever did this i am sure the amount of patch posts would drop like a stone!

The Queen DID have Diana assassinated, the moon landing WAS faked in a Hollywood studio, and the CIA IS responsible for the Earthquake in Managua, Nicaragua in 1972.
Oh, and Atari IS being run by a bunch of empty-headed, right-wing pigeons who care less about you than they care about saving the endangered Chickrellden.*

* The Chickrellden is a ficticious creature, developed solely for this rant. the point is that Atari could not possibly care less about us or how we feel about them or their buggy game.
