After "Lost Love" game not saving anymore

I got as far as Lost Love and passed it. I had to replay it several times because that level didn't/doesn't get saved when I complete it. The game automatic saving feature worked perfectly well until I arrived at that level. It's pretty frustrating when I have to replay the entire level, as some of the guitar playing can be timetaking. :cry2: :cry2:

I noticed that in Options that the Automatic Saving feature is turned OFF; and it doesn't allow me to turn it on. I don't know what this option was st too when the saving feature worked well.

BTW I'm playing the PC version on Windows XP.

I managed to turn on the autosave feature again, which seems like I have accidentally turned off. And I got a savepoint during the "Lost Love" so I don't have to start it all over again. However I actually completed "Hide and seek" but that one didn't even got saved.

Why isn't the game saving at least at the end of every chapter that I complete?

I just discovered what the problem is, and that is the autosave feature for some or another reason turns itself OFF all the time thus not saving any of my progress.

If I turn AutoSave ON right before a level it seems like it will save my progress, but then at some point after it simply turns itself off.

Oh god how anoying, it was working perfectly well until the "Lost Love" chapter and then that problem started.
What could be causing this?
