Meet
Starting time: 8 pm cet
Starting place: the SE lighthouse's parking lot/panorama view, near Makapu'u Meditation (A house).
Vehicle: Any. Since there's a possibility for a wide gap between the top speeds of various drivers all drivers must try to abide the speedlimit set by leader.
Miscellanous: No ramming on purpose. H-moders preferred :), if you're at champion-rank, it's really kinda expected. Speedlimits set by the pack-leader should follow the top speeds of those with slowest cars, except on the highway when there's a nice stretch coming up, then all are free to rev it ;)
Yea trying to throw a meet/cruise in the near future, would be nice to know if there's interest...I like to call it at least partly a meet because there shall be a fair amount of breaks :smoke: , and trying to get otherwise also a mellow groove going, trying to wind down on the saturday nights small hours...Low-ridin';). And sometimes maybe even stop at red lights( :gaga: ), fill up at gas stations, n stuff like that..? U know, just for kicks...

I'll use H-mode as i do have it unlocked... just never been on it because i didn't realise it changed it completely. The manual just says it disables drivings aids, which i've done anyway.

And I don't think you need to worry too much about being new to the h-mode, we'll go nice n slow most of the time ;)! Good change for you to pick up h-mode anyway since there's gonna be other h-mode drivers there too so you can learn from example. It's a good teacher, example. Taught me well enough :wink2:

Just a quick question , what do you do when you get a group of nice people to cruise with but one of them has connection problems ?
That kinda sucks , because that one person creates shuttering to everyone else , or if not that , they jump all over the road and traffic cars keep doing funny things....:(

Yea, well, that's pretty much just one of those things: If it can be fixed for example by re-teleporting, great, if it can't, well, we just have to live with it, possibly placing the driver who is lagging as far as possible from the driver he's laggin for when on the move. The chaotic nature of TDU guarantees random accidents nearly every time cruising with a bigger posse, this is just one of those things that can't really be helped, just try to enjoy it all anyway. Everyone should be aware anyway that due to pop-up traffic, lagging, and unsync'd pc's the occasional crash can't be avoided, and really is no-ones fault.
What with the planned slow( mostly) driving, I hope and think the anomalies will be minimal. :)

Also... how do you sort of lock onto someone so you can still be with them after teleporting? I've heard people mention it on here... And a cruise would be pretty impossible to organise if you couldn't do it.

Well, to my experience and understading there's no such way existing which would allow keeping a lock on a friend after you go to map :gaga: . Surprisingly, cruises are still not (usually, there are grievous exceptions madred: ) that hard to get going, just make sure no one goes to map in crowded areas to avoid trouble in getting back to the same group.
Always when trying to get to friends you see on the map, try again and again untill you succeed. Or get fed up :p . It's good to keep the HUD's GPS on when trying to find friends: When the little screen that shows how many players are around you flashes green it means TDU is trying to sync your pc with others. If you don't see your friends after that green flash, go to map again and teleport to your friends again. Or just exit the map.
And EwanT0, both cars are excellent choices, and I have to say I am a huge Corvette fan myself... Although the DB4 is one of those cars not so often seen around Oahu, so it could be nice n' fresh"ish"... :)

Yea, ok the time of around 8pm GMT sounds ok for me I'd guess.
The fact that you're not in hmode yet is not the slightest of problems if you take into consideration that others might be driving in hmode, and so drive accordingly, i.e: be mindful of others, even more so than usually, especially when cornering and slowing down. Just keep your eyes open and drive sanishly and it shouldn't be anykind of a problem;)!

BST = GMT +1 (DST)
CET = BST +1 (always)
So when do we start now?? :p
Like I said, I think I'll be on the island from around 8 pm to 0 pm CET
(that's 7 pm to 11 pm BST)
(or 6 pm to 10 pm GMT)

Ok! :) I'll try to be ingame at 8pm cet. But I will be starting the meet at SE lighthouse, please port to me there. I's usually less crowdy than Ford Isle, and I have a little route planned ;)!

Bloody murder :mad: !!! PC just hardlocked with TDU, and now I can't get connected to the server sour: !!!! Just re-installed TDU today and updated drivers madred: .......
And now it froze again... :cry2: tdown: :gaga: :atari:
damn ... have you tried exiting and restarting TDU? This sometimes helps for me to get connected again ...

Yes, an I restarted pc and reseted router... :cry: And I got in once, but when it tried to sync w you and who was the other peep(s) there, TDU froze again... :noooo: madred: :mad:
