Around the Crater in a Corvette Stingray 69

Well .. I'm not sure I picked the easiest car to drive in the G class. It seems that when you're flying - the worst thing you can do with this car is take your foot off the gas for fear of the back end sliding out. Still .. I picked it because I like the look of the car - always have.

Anyway .. I'm trying to do the Round the Crater mission in this thing and have made it silver but not beaten it yet. Part of my issue is my driving (hands up - I admit I'm no racing driver) but I'm finding something else tough about this race.

It seems that on a number of occasions ... the other drivers turn in to the rear quarter of my car to spin me out. Does anyone else get that kind of special attention for that race? Or am I just taking the wrong line and paying the price.

Also - is there a way of quitting a race without needing to come right out of the game because a couple of times i've come off the track and found I'm stuck or have no traction and have no way of finishing.

Try going to the V-Rent in the crater and renting a faster G-class car for that race. Get a good start, and, assuming you don't crash too much, you should be okay.
Press P, and you can select restart, or quit :)

Also, if you get stuck, press B (assuming you haven't changed the button) and it'll reset you car on the road.

Dude .. you're a dude. Thanks for the info. I've done the race now after cranking up the power on the stingray but didn't realise you could V-Rent for races so thanks.
