Maximum Level's

What are the maximum levels you can achieve in the Game.

I've achieved level 18 but gaining experience is getting harder and harder as any creature that is consdered to have too low a threat rating gains you 0 XP - best creature for xp to date is the lich, particularly the room in the dwarf stronghold where they keep repopulating.

I just kept launching fireballs in and hey presto - 3000-5000 xp after each resting session. If you have any problems I'll explain better later. dark:

Update

Have hit level 19 and am slowly crawling my way to level 20. I am only gaining XP from critters that are a threat to some degree to my party - giant stone golems and horned demons - but even these only give 500 or so each. Most of my XP's seem to be coming from completing quests.

By the way gold is no longer an option - I have bought everything I need to bolster the party, including a few things that cost close to 100k each but am still walking around with close to 500K. I do think it's a pity that the shops don't restock after a time as there are a few items I would like more than one of but the shop only has 1 in stock...ever. :aie:

One final update.

The maximum level is 20. mdr1

As soon as my party hit 20 the xp bars disappeared and the guage stated I needed 0xp for next level.

I opened the chests when fighting the dragolich and it ended the fight as Sucsses!! Didn't get anything for it :mad:

I got to level 19 on the first play through so may do the evil campaign as well. :)
