Hello,

I purchased my game via digital download (Metaboli/Gamesplanet).

I received a game activation key (Multiplayer/CD Key) from them, however this key does not work when attempting to register with the official site for access to the area with bonus material.

If you read the official Witcher forums, you will see there are many like us experiencing the same problem.

I contacted Gamesplanet and they informed me that they are awaiting the bonus CD keys from Atari.

When will these be distributed?

Hi and welcome to the UK forums :)

I'll do what I can to find out (I've been following the issue on the CDP forums too), but I can't promise anything as I'm only a moderator and don't have direct access to the right people. :)

Thank you for the quick response.

Just so long as Atari is aware of and is attempting to resolve the issue, that is all I can ask :)

I'll contact Atari(UK) support and see if they can shed any light on this issue.

Hi Candew, sorry to hear about your problem. I'm looking into it right now.

Edit:

I've just been in touch with CD Projekt, they recommended that anybody experiencing issues with the community key for bonus material should go to http://www.thewitcher.com/registration/en/www/support.html

Please keep me posted if you have any problems :)

Well thank you for this, but my problem is: I have not been given a community key which would allow me to register the game in order to access the bonus material.

Who is supposed to supply it? Atari or CD Projekt?

I have purchased the game via digital download via Gamesplanet, following the link from the Atari UK site. An activation key accompanied the download and was emailed to me along with my order number.

I installed and activated the game with the supplied activation key.

However, this activation key, apparently, is not the same as the community key and I have not been able to register my game as a consequence.

I have contacted Gamesplanet, who informed me that they are awaiting the 'bonus' keys from Atari.

I just want my community key assigned to me to allow me to offically register my purchase.

Thank you for looking into this for me.

Metaboli should have received the community keys a few days ago. Could you please let me know when you last contacted them? :)

I received a response from them on Tuesday that they were awaiting the CD keys from Atari.

I will follow up with them, as apparently, another person with the same problem did recieve the key within 40 minutes of his email to Metaboli (according to his post on the official boards).

Should I not receive the key by this time next week, I will contact you again.

Thank you for your quick response to my queries! :atari:

Candew, to the best of my knowledge Metaboli received the keys on Monday. I'll have a chat with the powers above to make sure everything is ok. Please poke me if you still have problems receiving your key :)

Rather than start a new thread, I'll add my problem here, as it is very similar :)
I tried registering using the game menu tab, but after completing the process I waited for my confirmation e-mail...and waited...and waited.....
Never arrived...I _DID_ check the junk e-mail folder just in case, but nothing there either.
As I was unable to confirm my e-mail address, it wont let me log in using my chosen nickname, and I dont really want to have to create another account.
I followed the only link I could find on the page...but didnt get any further because I dont speak Polish!!
Is there anyway I can get a new confirmation e-mail sent? The Nick I chose was "Bladerunner", and the e-mail I used was "blade (AT) tenball (DOT) co (DOT) uk"

Sorry, ignore that post...managed to find a hidden link to resend the validation e-mail! :)

The key arrived in my inbox this morning. :bravo:

Thank you for your kind assistance!

No problems, Candew :)

LFS-Bladerunner, I'm afraid I can't help you, Atari don't have anything to do with The Witcher forum, it's managed directly by CD Projekt. I'll see if I can find a contact for you :)

Edit - The contact for issues related to The Witcher forum (not the Atari forum) is community@thewitcher.com

I got exactly the same problem. I downloaded the game via metaboli and they sent me an activation key that does not work.

Please help me. Thank you very much :atari: .

Please contact Metaboli as they now have the correct set of keys and should be happy to send one out to you :)

I have the same problem.

btw, should I be mailing Gamesplanet or Metaboli?

I have sent a couple of e-mails to gamesplanet, but there has been no response yet.

I think they're one and the same? Try metaboli if you don't get a response from gamesplanet in a reasonable time (you're not missing out on anything yet - first extra content is due around about the time the toolset comes out).
