Yeah thats what i was getting at in my post. I thought Aston was still made here but obviously Jag have gone bye bye and no one wants them anymore.
Are McLaren solely British? i thought they were a mish mash of countries input.
TVR and Noble rule, coz they are British through and through. :)

Aston Martin was bought from Ford by Prodrive, which is a British company, therefore Aston Martin is British. Dunno about Jags, Ford sold them off, but I don't know who to. And I think TVR's owed by some Russian bloke :p

Ah true, TVR may be no more. But they were owned by some russian bloke before they went bust :o So if any, they're the ones you should be excluding. Not that you should be excluding any. Aston, Caterham, Lotus, Jag, TVR, Noble, McLaren, Ascari and Farboud should be included in your cruise. Otherwise it's not a 'British' Cruise, is it?

Mclaren are a british firm they mainly deal with F1.
Just a bit more info the mercedes slr can be classed as a british car.
Although the slr has a german badge and the initial basic desighn was done by mercedes its not built by them.

Cool, thanks for the info.
Getting back to the topic of this thread, are we having this British cruise? I didnt see anyone or get any confirm by the thread starter on the 7th.
I had a good long cruise around the island last night in a Me Four-Twelve, man those things are fast but the handling is very tricky. Its awesome how u can drift them round corners with the power.

Actually Ford are Selling off Jaguar again :P And Aston Martin was bought back by a British guy, at least that was the idea.
Oh and it doesnt matter who owns it it matters where it was made. Just like where you were born. I was born in Scotland, therfor im Scottish. Aston Martin was built in England therfor its English which is British.
