Question

I just had a question for anyone who's tried the demo. Are there any combination jumps, like 2 or 3 in a row, or are they all spread apart? :hin:

Also what do you guys think of the demo? I have dial up so i can't download the demo unless i leave it connescted for 24 hours lol. Is it as good as it looks?? :nuts:

I just tried the demo today. It only has one beginner level course available and there are no combinations in it. I'll make another post with my thoughts in it.

As for dial-up, that's what I have too. I just use a download manager (I've got Star Downloader, it's free, or at least was when I downloaded it) which lets you pause and resume downloads. That way I just resume the download whenever I'm away from the pc, having dinner, walking the dog, etc. It's great as long as you're not in a hurry. tonguegre I just let the demo download overnight when the phone line wasn't needed and the speed is usually the fastest. :)

There are no combinations in the demo, but in the beginner course you can't expect it. The jump were, what, 2 feet? tonguegre
I found the mini butterfly game quite tedious and pointless, and only fun for about 30 seconds. Maybe it's because I kept losing ..? :rolleyes:
I'm guessing that there will be combinations later on because, unlike most games, the horse jumps on its own. You don't need to press spacebar or a button on the controller to make it jump. It would make combinations much easier.

All in all, I quite liked the demo. My Horse and Me is definately the best horse game out there right now, but it's still not quite there for realisticness.. I saw a few errors like the wrong cantering leads, floating before the horse jumps, legs without defined joints (especially the hind legs over jumps - they look totally wrong) and that irritating thing where the horse keeps moving it's head way to the side whenever you ask it to turn even a little bit.
