Does anyone know if the game is realistic enough that it works/can be used as training for real life? in so case, only for beginners?
I have ridden for 10 years and ride on a LA level in dressage, 1m showjumping, 60km endurance.. some elements from grand prix in dressage and jump 80-1.20m when training...
Great if I can use this game for practice to competitions ect..
Any riders here? what "level" do you ride on, and do what you think? are the signals right, do the horse react right on the signals? what about wheight and seat as helpers? have the game got that?

thankful for any reply..:)

Well, from the demo it's a pretty good game for realisticness .. something about the hind legs when jumping really irritates me. they look like they're folding in half - the bend is so soft it looks quite funny.

One thing I love it the horses' reactions to the jumps - they dodge around it and turn away from it on top of the normal refusal that's expected of all the other crappy horse games.

The first-person is quite nice, but extremely hard to get used to. When you look down you can actually SEE the horse - quite an achievement! tonguegre lol

Another thing that really makes me happy is the posting trot - it's almost perfect. Except that there aren't set speeds for the gaits, it's more like a gradual speed up/slow down so it's hard to stay at one specific gait besides the gallop (and you'd obviously lose time on your course).

All in all, I'd suggest buying the game if you don't expect a perfect mirror of real life. No game can accomplish that. But MHAM is probably the closest you'll get on a game right now. :)
