Im thinking of going on tonight for a chilled cruise around, maybe a lap of the island, i feel like using only Aston Martins today.
I'll have to drag myself off cod4,
Im jumping on at about 8pm gmt. Look for me if u wanna join in,

lol, sorry mate, i posted this thread last Tuesday, i kinda dismissed it since on that day no one was bothered.
Oh and on Cod4 im just coming onto the level for "the shot" achievement, damn Veteran level is tough!

the second part of the level is crazy. took me 2 or 3 hours eekblue: its easy to hold off until the helicopter arrives but the 30 seconds to get the Scottish guy and get on is insane. good luck lol

Made it after god knows how long, i now officially bleeping hate cod4 because im now on the missle silo part on Veteran and it is impossible, no other words, impossible!!!!! thanks a lot Activision for making a game with a level so difficult that it is impossible. Im now going on tdu for a tranquil cruise coz if i stayed on that game one more go the wireless pad wud be toast!
just finished it, wut a game it is. shame the multiplayer isnt like cod3 instead of r6. anyway back to tdu. u want cruise around sometime.

man, u finished it on Veteran difficulty? how the heck u do that missile level?
When u crawl through the air ducts then go through the underground bunker theres men everywhere, sometimes waiting for you from all sides and the guys helping you out seem to do naff all on mine, they just stand there and make u run in and do all the work.

i was stuck on that one for ages and i realized i had taken to long with the timer. so i did the last mission which was really easy as long as you duck down in the jeep. when i went back to it i did it as fast as i could. when the timer first starts from 9 minutes i went left and changed my gun to a grenade launcher (left on the d-pad) and took out the three enemies around the corner. then i switched back and took out the 2 guys that come straight after. then i ran into the next room and came back. if you run ahead a bit and come back to get cover your team goes farther ahead. i let them clear that room. i cant remember exacly the next bit. i think you go down some stairs and you get a checkpoint. i didnt bother shooting anyone down the corridor i ran forward a bit to cover and threw a flash bang down the right hand side were theres a man waiting. as soon as the grenade pops go kill him. i threw another one and it depends how good you throw it. sometimes you can run up and shoot everyone. anyway after you do that someone shouts quick its going to blow or something. run through and you get another checkpoint, i had about 6.30 minutes left i think. the next bit was the hardest. youve got a long corridor with boxes blocking your path and two alleys with 4 men waiting, 2 men in each alley. instead of waiting to kill the men down the corridor i ran forward for cover and threw a flash bang down each side of the alleys, one straight after the other. then i killed them both. i ran down the right but stop before you enter the room. a guy will run behind the big post, aim to the right side and wait for him and shoot him. then i threw grenade down the door the man came through to kill the enemies that were close. then a flash bang to give me enought time to get an aim on the enemies that were far away (there 2 far away) after that i ran down. i only had one flash bang left and waisted it rolleyesa somehow i ended up killing the people that were on the opposite side (if i went down the left alley i would of been at the same place as i am on the right alley) then run and go to the right. this is the wierd bit. before i restarted the mission i didnt get a checkpoint here but this time i did. i had about 4.30 minutes left. now i had a checkpoint i could be a little bit stuiped. so when teh blast doors open the best thing to do its kill the guy on your right in the room. then run in that room. your team takes out most of the people. then its easy from there. hope this makes sense and helps :)

Now thats puzzling me, that bit where u go down the stairs and theres a big russian emblem or whatever it is on the wall, it saves me a checkpoint there, but when i get all thru that and get to that much harder (boxes blocking my way area) it doesnt save me a new checkpoint!! get killed there and im starting right back at the top of those stairs again. Its driving me berserk!

restart the level. i just went through and you should get a checkpoint.
just got the mile high achievement :nuts: you know the one were your on the plane... god that took some time

oh my god, now u taking the mickey! ive just finally completed veteran and now on mile high and have given up on that now. To do it youve pretty much got to flash and run through dozens of guys, stop to shoot and u run out of time. Aghhhhhhh going insane here, Activision i hate you!!! lol

yea that one was impossible till i watched this http://youtube.com/watch?v=FbYXV0UivpM copy exacly what he does and you get it. the problem is when you get to the hostage you get and extra 5 seconds to shoot them and i missed the first time and had trouble getting back :laugh:
