Well, I just bought this and tried to play it. However, I'm having such blatant video problems that the game is entirely unplayable, even on all of the lowest settings. I'm worried that maybe my graphics card isn't good enough - I'm playing on a laptop and my video card is an ATI Mobility Radeon X1600, 512 MB. Under installed drivers it says ati2dvag (6.14.10.6587) I think that should be current, since I downloaded what I think was the latest driver from Acer (the laptop is an Acer) and I'm sure I have DirectX 9.0c. Can anyone tell me if my video card ain't gonna cut it and I just wasted 50 bucks, or if I can do something to fix my problems, or if you need more information? The problems, btw, include odd patches of color on the regular screen, extreme flickering, occasional lack of any color (like quasi black screen) and when I go to the menu from in a game, it gets totally screwed up, no sliders under options, messed up background, etc. My fear is that I'm not going to be able to play this at all, but could anyone give me a definitive answer. Basically, I'd just like to know if I'm screwed so I can give up. Thanks.
