Attention:The Uk battle for Gracemeria begins on the 23rd of November 2007 ,grab your flight suits and helmets!!!!!!!

Hi all just a little review of what I've seen so far and let me tell you that you won't be disappointed! :bravo:

I have played all of the Ace Combat series and this one has to be the best ,the atmosphere is so intense you'll find yourself screaming "INCOMING" and "FOX 3" at your TV lolblue: many times I've had to tell myself "calm down it's only a game" and I have felt quite out of breath as I put down a very sweaty controller for a 5 minute break before heading back to battle.

As in the demo the setting of Gracemeria is beautiful and so well rendered that the realism just jumps out at you and really immerses you in the battles
and you actually feel that it's your home town being attacked ,and it's down to you to do something about it as you fire off your weapons and pull high G turns to lose the missile thats now locked on to you eekblue:

I won't go into the story line because I don't want to ruin it for you and as for the Xbox Live battles I can't wait to either have you as a wingman or chasing you down with a missile and machine guns blazing ,the different online modes are as follows

1)Team Battle :Players Break up into 2 teams of up to 15 players per team and earn points based on the type of aircraft you shoot down

2)Battle Royale :Shoot down other players to earn points the player with the highest points wins ,up to 16 players can participate

3)Siege Battle :Basicly attack and defend (I really like this one) teams switch roles at the end of the battles ,7 players a side on this one

4)Co-Op Battle :this one has less online players ,4 to be precise but I think any more would be confusing but I also like this mode too

All in all I really recommend going out and spending your cash on this one ,if you played the Ace Combat series or not it's massively enjoyable 10sur10

Hope to see you in the air!!!!
Oh and if you do see me online be gentle with me lolblue:

BJ

From what I have played so far this game is a lot of fun and there is a lot going on, I'm playing on Normal and the enemy is still getting a couple of missile hits on me and I'm only just done the 2nd mission. The presentation, music and radio chatter is top notch and humouress also, they all take the mickey out each other often. Not tried online yet as I'm mainly playing the storymode right now. :)

I'll even see about getting a video up if I can as this game is stunningly beautiful.

If your that good maybe I should have you as a wingman not an enemy lolblue:

Getting to grips with the control system for an air combat game on a gamepad might be a bit of a challenge though so I'll make no claims that I'll be any good at it ;)

Now if I could use my Saitek X52 flight stick that would be sweet but that's not really going to happen yet. Hopefully the developers are looking at this though when MS open up the controller APIs (if they haven't already). Don't think they have much choice after the steering wheel fiasco

.... Just picked up my copy with 2x downloadable F15Es courtesy of Game :) Looking forward to playing this later.

Forget Assassins Creed, NFS Prostreet and all that other bobbins... Ace Combat really is Ace and you wold be nuts not to buy it!

Seriously, the amount of stuff going on in each mission is absolutely crazy and the graphics/fx are fantastic despite all of the mayhem.

Hey fizz, we'll need to do some coops mate, I've done the first which is really difficult due to that machine gun boat and I enjoyed the campaign so much on Normal that I'm doing it on Expert and woah it's much tougher. Strigon team are more lethal and the Aces are really difficult to track and lock onto, you usually need to High-G until they stall to get them with your machine gun! tonguegre

I've just got the free plane and the Game exclusives (F15s) - thanks to one of my friends who kindly got me the codes from his branch seeing as the useless lot at my local store claimed not to have received any. I might get that F14 though -fast or what!

Wait till you hit Mission 9 fizz mate! What level you starting out on? Normal is quite challenging and the coop is good fun, need to still do the 2nd coop though.
