And I was quite happy with the 20 days to go, since I was thinking it was the released date for the game, definitely this would be my x-mas game, but since it's only the countdown for when the release date will be announced I'm still looking for a x-mas game :noooo: :noooo: :noooo: :noooo:

So how come there isn't much of a discussion happening about the Central Dark site. It's the 18th now the time has past and at the moment I've not noticed anything changed or discovered the 'truth'.

All that I can see that is different on that website is the 'truth to be revealed' countdown timer now displays random letters | numbers | symbols now.

Anyone care to share anything else that they've noticed or found...?

I am sooooo excited about this game but the site is annoyign me with nothing happening... I hope by fri there will be something or even by sun there will hopefully be....

I'm a big time Alone in the Dark fan and I'm doing my best to stay away from the game until it's finished as I don't want my fun spoilt. Imagine how difficult is for me to go lalalalalala I'm not listening lalalalalalala I'm not watching lalalalalalalala I'm not playing this.

Regrettably, I've seen a few levels. It's lovely, in an adrenaline rush sort of way. The puzzles are simply fantastic, no pen and paper anymore, just thinking out of the box will get you out of any weird situation. The AI are bleeding clever and they have senses, damn them!

Oh, we'll have fun. Looking forward to it!

Hi to you all. Just a question: Will there be a Limited Edition for the Pc Version? I am only asking this because a shop here in Greece has announced it in its online shop(it even has a price for it and release date-21/3/08 as with all the other versions) but with no details!
Has anyone heard anything about it?

P.S. A limited edition has been announced for the Xbox360 as well.

The current release date is financial year 2007 - which, for Atari, ends on 31st March 2008. There isn't a set date as yet, the game looks pretty cool and in a very good shape as of the last version I've seen (beginning of Dec), so all very very promising ;)

I'll keep you posted, I'm looking forward to it as much as you do...I can't wait but I will patiently sit down and play other games in the meantime. No rush, nononononono ;)

I work for Atari UK. The official line is that Alone in the Dark is coming out financial year 2007-2008, which, for Atari, ends in March 2008. If there are any delays, rest sure I will make the community aware.

Yes I want them all and I think Atari will reconsider the value of the Limited/Collectors packs and wont chop them (call me Witcher-only reason for not buying the collectors edition and therefore the game)

The trailer is fantastic. The interaction with the world is incredible, the graphics seem fresh and the movement seems physical!!!I think the game must use ageia techonogy as well!!!

I also remember the old pc alone in the dark games... i spent some nice time on the hint lines as well!

I am really excited about this for the wii. I realize it may not look as great, but the controls will make up for it.

360, PC, PS2 and Wii versions are scheduled for release in May 2008; no date for the PS3 version, it's currently set for TBC 2008.

It might sound strange but the world of copyrights extends to even building in Central Park, there's a lot of legal work involved.
The update will be up when all is cleared and fine.

I am not sure if anyone else has seen, but as of yesterday on the site
the teaser trailer was posted and omg I am practically jumping off the walls and shaking so much for anticipation of this game to come out!!!!

I have basically realized there is no way this game can suck even the least, at least a 9/10 on review sites and magazines.. I really do hope thats around the score, if this game sucks I will cry for days, so please don't deny us our happiness Atari and Eden studios

I really hope the game comes out around June 3rd... and lives up to the hype!!!
