Who wants piccies back in siggies?

So, I thought maybe the time would be ripe for us to get to use piccies in our siggys again... So that's why this thread. And hopefully something will come out of it! :) :salut2:

No I didn't mean to imply that; I think I know why they were removed, because of some juvenile circumventing the swear-filter through them. I just thought maybe we could have them back? :) And post a poll about it, so that if enough people want them back, maybe that would amount to something. :hin:

According to the most noble Mole, they were banned because someone was abusing them, or summat like that. I voted yes, simply 'cause I spent hours making myself a sig for other forums, and I can't post it here :laugh:

Ah I was just wondering what the point of the poll was :p If the decision wasn't made by users then it doesn't make much sense in asking them what they'd like :p

I can't think of any reason why users wouldn't want picture signatures so I'd just assume you get a 100% 'Yes' response. It won't change anything though because we already have enough problems with swearing as it is. Maybe if the community as a whole grew up enough not to swear we could look into it, but we'd have to have a large period of time with no swearing for that to happen. The longest I've seen without swearing is only a few days sadly :(

(I don't mean to imply everyone needs to grow up by the way :p Just that there are still lots of people out there who join and then ignore the rules, but if the internet/gaming community outside of these forums grew up then that'd be less of a problem).

Seems rather pointless to prohibit the use of piccies in siggies, as the moderators are there anyway... If someone breakes the rules, out they go, it's pretty hard to not to notice the siggies anyway you know...
