stuck on grooming

can anyone help me please, just got the game and im trying to release some of the clothing it says i can release a top by grooming the horse once but i have done that and it hasnt relased it, how do u know when the horse is clean? Thanks

Sparkles appear around the horse when it's clean. :cool:
