Hi guys, this is the first recruitment drive for Ferrari club, for those who are interested in joining please come for the cruise and let me add you to my friends list..

For those who don't want to join, feel free to join in!

Please bring along a ferrari, preferably a red f430 Hard top..
other ferraris are welcome but preferably a red f430 Hard top if u have one :)

I counted 5 people there in total including myself. Dunno if there were others on different instances... But anyway, that's at least 5 people disappointed that this cruise didn't happen. Was there any reason why it didn't go ahead, or was it the cruise that time forgot?

Ye what happened? I was at the point by half 3 GMT. Waited til about 3:50 til one showed up, then bout 10 mins later Night showed then by half past 1 had gone and CJ3ppe had shown up. Must say, am disapointed at least we had our own lil 3-man cruise, something at least :nono: :noooo:

Ye...I was actually there at 3 o'clock aswell..then when just couple showed up i decided to go cruisin by myself. I was also there (waiting) at 4 o'clock in case that the cruise time had been changed...still surprisingly..there were only 4 or 5 of us at max. (or was it just 3)
Don't get me wrong..i'm not SO mad...but I really wanna hear a goooood explanation on what the **** happened. Many of us Wasted their time by just waiting several hours for it to start. I even missed my home towns ic'hockey match because of this.. sour:
But anyway..let's hope this wont happen again! rolleyesa

Hmm, looking at my schedule, I might not make it, but I'll do everything I can to try and get there.

I've just ordered a new 22" LCD (compared to my current 17" CRT, it's gonna be huuuugggeee), new 600W power supply, as mine is defiantly dieing and a few other bits and bobs, all from ebuyer. So, looks like this weekend is going to be mostly rewiring my PC with the new kit, and cleaning out the dust.

I suppose I could hold off rewiring until Saturday night, but I'd rather start it on Friday night, and hopefully finish by about 2PM on Sat.

Well, my improvements didn't take as long as I expected. I started at about 4:30pm, and was finished and checking the display for stuck pixels by 10pm.

Turns out there's just a single blue stuck pixel in the bottom right corner, but you can only see it when the screen is black in that area.

I should be there no problem. See you in less than 3 hours.

That's funny I have a red one on the top left corner :) Wonder how can it be fixed...

I have seen some javascript things on the interweb that claim to unstick pixels by repeatedly flashing colours in the area. I don't know if they work or not (nor am I going to try, just in case I make it worse, and knowing my luck I will).

But, I can't actually see the pixel, unless the area's black. I've even used a program called Dead Pixel Buddy to check the screen, and if the colour is red, yellow, green, or white, I can't see it.

You never know, it may unstick itself after a few hours use of the LCD, as it's only been turned on for about 3 hours.

Sorry, didn't know it was a ferrari or club thing - someone should have said! Was fun anyway, when people weren't bumping others off the road. Hope you didn't mind the classic car - it's practically the predecessor of the Ferrari anyway ;)

Twas a good cruise for the time I was there. Although my wheel's started acting up again, and sometimes jerks side to side (which is why I occasionally couldn't go in a straight line).

Had to leave as my rather annoying neighbour managed to get herself stuck in a bedroom while she was moving furniture around, and so I had to go round and move some stuff, and then dismantle a bed.

Kind of off topic, but with my old 17" monitor, used to get between 35-40 fps @ 1280x1024 while on my own, and it sometimes dropped to about 25 when I was with 7 other people. With my new 22" @ 1680x1050, I now get about 35-45 fps on my own, and still get 30-40 with full sever, but it did drop to about 20fps a few times during the cruise (mainly when everyone started piling up, and smoke was everywhere), but only for a few seconds.

EDIT: Which reminds me, is there anyway to reduce the size of the HUD, as the GPS is about 3.5" square, and the rev gauge is slightly bigger, and they're both too big.
