Hey, finally got online again (servers are "fixed" now) but still cannot see players on the map. Trade windows and drive-in challenges do not show either. Basically everything online-related is not showing. Every 10 minutes I get a message saying that servers are not avaiable but in the map window it says TDU servers available.

I'm now able to save and roam and race single-player after deleting the buddylist and that other file in application settings folder. Still.... I think there's still a server problem with my profile in particular, after not having any problems last week for 60 hours up to Champion level (nothing was changed after the servers went down 2 days ago).

Thanks for any help that you could offer.. or please look into this because this issue certainly looks to be on the server side.

You would never guess what solved the problem for me!

I'm not going to leave you hanging and post the answer here tomorrow or a few days later... here it is right now---

Remember the major server outage nearly a week ago? It lasted for 2 days? Well, I decided to try some port forwarding on my router to see if it solved the problem (according to some threads here on the forums--I forwarded all the posts as recommended by a moderator). After the moderator here claimed that the servers were back online, all I got were the problems as stated in the above post.

So, I was thinking that maybe the servers were using new ports or something, and I decided to try it without using a router (only one of my 2 computers could connect to the 'net as a result..). BAM! It worked just fine!!! Then I was thinking--maybe if I went back to how it was before I forwarded the ports, and actually DISABLED the port forwarding, it would work just fine with my router firewall as it did before. AND YES, it worked!!!

Get that??? DISABLING the ports forwarding solved my problem! Maybe that would help some of you guys? To be sure, always try it without a router.
