some reason when im not in a mission or anything like that, when i get the police on me only the badges start flashing, no lil blue car telling me how close the police car is? and then as soon as it hits 3 full badges it fines me?!?! not when the police catch me just fines me? can anyone tell me why please? :mad: :hin:

Playing online you only get badges and no police to follow you. This is because the server cant handle having police cars chasing potentially hundreds of people around the map. Play it offline and its reactivated and the fuzz will chase you.

Online there is no physical police presence hence why you are only seeing badges appearing and should you reach 3 full badges a fine or jail is heading your way. Offline though, there are police cars that will pursue you and the little radar will also appear to show you how close they are to you.

So basically:

Offline: Police chases
Online: No Police only badges
