Update on the demo: X360 demo will be released at around launch (currently, the release date is set for 20th June in Europe). No confirmations on other formats.

PS3 demo is in the works, but its no doubt delayed like the full game. Just get GTA4 in a fortnights time, by the time you get bored of it, you may see the PS3 version start to surface.

The other thing that is no doubt is playing a part in the release of the PS3 version, is that a certain Hideo Kojima game is arriving in summer, and will steal the thunder of every game released in the same quarter.

Oh, and just for info and slightly off topic, the above game I'm talking about gets an online beta on thursday released over the PSN.

Lol at the chauvinism. I have, and I'm a longtime fan of the series. But I'll be much more excited to get my hands on an original, not overhyped game that actually keeps it promises. MGS has a (albeit large) cult fanbase, so aside from the graphics (that don't hold a candle to Uncharted), I can't really see the mass market appeal. Pre-ordered it, though. Wanna see how the story ends.

I applaud the fact that Eden is actually delaying the PS3 version of Alone, instead of just turning in an inferior port. If I had any patience, I'd hold out for the PS3 version.

i don't know the proper release date of the demo but i do know that OXM ( official xbox magazine UK) will have the demo in there magazine out on june 13th. XD good for xbox gamers

Hi sebelulu, I'm afraid signatures won't speed up the developers' work, unfortunately. They're working on it, don't worry ;)

It's going to be tough to make a demo to really show what this game is made of though imo, I mean the first 2 Episodes are basically tutorials and then the game gets really addicitve at Episode 3 and beyond.

I suppose though the first part does ease you into the game with some good sequences.
