Ben Walker, senior product manager at Atari UK, is getting his bike out for a ride...from London to Paris! All for a good cause, I hope that the forum members will show once again their generosity and dig deep to help Ben raise money for the St Clares Hospice.
Hi All,
Come June 11th I'll be doning my lycra outfit (sorry for the distressing mental image) and attempting the London to Paris bike ride. Far from a simple jaunt across the channel, I've been reliably informed that 4 bike miles is the equivalent to 1 running mile so i would have achieved 2.7 marathons over the 3 days, which for a man who gets out of breath running for his train in the morning, is a quite scary prospect!
I'm raising funds for St Clare's Hospice which is a charity close to my heart; having lost my father last year to cancer I experienced first hand the great work they do during those very difficult last months in making patients as comfortable as they possibly can, so please dig deep to support the essential work St Clares Hospice perform.
